Ludhiana Municipal Corporation is working on the proposed metro rail project in the city. The project detail is being worked out at the moment and the final scrutiny of detailed project report may be complete in a week or so, Ludhiana Municipal Corporation Commissioner RK Verma said.
Following the scrutiny of the detailed project report, it would be submitted to the centre for their feedback, the commissioner said.
Meanwhile, Verma would be giving a presentation on the project in a meeting with the Ministry of Urban Development in New Delhi.
Punjab along with Maharashtra, Assam and Gujarat have been invited to this review meeting.
