A number of major infrastructural development projects such as roads and flyovers worth Rs 10,000 crore have been proposed and lined up in Hyderabad over the next 18 to 24 months.

Phase-I of Hyderabad’s Metro Rail Project, estimated at Rs 14,132 crore, is set to be commissioned in November this year. The four planned mega flyovers such as the PVNR Expressway will also enhance the city’s connectivity.
Nearly 290 km of roads will reportedly be developed through Hyderabad Road Development Corporation. The maintenance of these roads will be done by their contractors for the next seven years.

The Rs 1,665-crore Musi Beautification Project will also commence soon, aiming to clean and beautify the neglected river. As per reports, the government is also finalising four expressways to make commute more efficient and the state has suggested building underpasses and flyovers for the same purpose.
