Uttarakhand govt gets Rs.225 mn for restoration work in the state

RK Singh, Minister of Power presented a cheque of Rs.225 mn crore to Uttarakhand Government. The cheque was received by DS Rawat, Uttarakhand Minister of Disaster Management in the virtual presence of Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Minister, Uttarakhand. The power sector CPSEs has contributed the money to the Uttar State Disaster Management Authority (USDMA) in a bid to unite for restoration work in flood-ravaged Uttarakhand. Singh applauded the swift action taken by the Power sector CPSEs to support the state of Uttarakhand. Singh conveyed the strong commitment of the central government to support Uttarakhand especially in this time of crisis.
