It is a proud moment for Sany, said Managing Director of Sany India and South Asia Deepak Garg on becoming the world’s largest excavator seller in 2020. Indeed! The Indian construction equipment and heavy machinery manufacturing firm has gone past major brands like JCB and Caterpillar to become the biggest excavator seller worldwide in 2020. According to an official release by the firm, Sany sold 98,705 excavators globally in 2020, recording a 15 per cent market share worldwide. It sits at the helm in the cranes and piling rigs segments in India. Sany has extended its product range over the years, from rendering three models of excavators in 2014 to 26 models on offer in India today. The Pune-based firm gives products that can manage between 2 and 80 tonne. After all the difficulties and struggles, the milestone that Sany has accomplished on a global platform is surely praiseworthy, commented Garg, as reported. Rightly so!
