Creating History

Under the leadership of its Managing Director PV Krishna Reddy, MEIL has bagged the Rs.45.09 billion contract for the Zojila pass in Jammu & Kashmir. This project is of great importance because along with the 6.5-km-long Z-Morh Tunnel, Zojila will provide all-weather connectivity between Srinagar, Kargil and Leh, and will bring about all-round economic and socio-cultural integration of these regions. The project will be constructed in two sections of about 33 km. 

MEIL will be constructing the project from the Z-Morh tunnel to Zojilla tunnel between Sonamarg-Kargil on NH-1 in the Zojilla pass area. While this EPC project is known to be the most complex one, we wish Reddy and his team all success in dedicating to the country yet another landmark project!
