Metro Achiever

Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) led by its Managing Director Ranjit Singh Deol has achieved a breakthrough on the fully-underground Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ Mumbai Metro 3, completing 97 per cent tunnelling on this line. It has so far tunnelled 52.60 km of the 54.50 km double line. The latest achievement was achieved at Mahalaxmi by the TBM Tansa-2, completed in 257 days, using 745 concrete rings. Now all eyes on the breakthrough Mumbai has been desperately waiting for to combat its traffic woes – completion of the metro line!
