Indore Smart City and Surat Smart City CEOs Sandeep Soni and Chaitanya Y Bhatt are on the move in making their cities smarter. Recently, Indore and Surat have jointly bagged the award for their overall development under the India Smart Cities Award Contest (ISAC) of the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs for the year 2020. 

ISAC recognises the award-winning cities based on their pioneering city strategies, ideas and projects based on innovation, impact and replicability or scalability. Surat and Indore, among other cities, were also awarded a four-star rating and were in the top nine performing cities under the Climate Smart Cities Assessment Framework 2.0, which was launched in September last year to provide an overarching roadmap to formulate, implement and monitor urban climate actions in India. We wish Soni and Bhatt the best in making their respective cities smarter to achieve even more marvellous feats.
