DMICDC plans two gas-based power projects

The Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (DMICDC) plans to set up two 1,000 MW gas-based power plants in Maharashtra with an investment of Rs 8,000 crore. The plants will supply reliable and uninterrupted power supply to the state.

The Maharashtra Government has allotted 151 hectare near Pune and 64 hectare in Raigad for the proposed projects. The projects are expected to be completed in two and half years.
