Kudankulam's nuke reactor to commence operations

The first 1,000 MW reactor at the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KKNPP), Tamil Nadu is expected to commence operations in June. Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCI) is delivering the project with Russian technology, reactor and fuel. NPCI is currently testing all the operational phases at the plant and has submitted the report to the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB).
