National Thermal Power Corporation's (NTPC) two operating units – Talcher Thermal Power Stations and Talcher Super Thermal Power Station – have been ranked amongst the 25 best power stations in India. The ranking was done in terms of plant load factor (PLF) for the April to June quarter of the first fiscal. Both units are located in the Eastern Region II of NTPC.
