Odisha plans to install 1 lakh pre-paid energy meters

The Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC) has reportedly recommended that the government install 1 lakh smart meters with pre-paid facilities in loss-prone areas of the state. It will help in reducing aggregated technical and commercial (AT&C) loss in the state, which stands at a very high percentage.
