Power Grid Corporation of India, reported a 2.8 per cent growth in its profit at Rs 1,274 crore in July-September quarter as compared to Rs 1,239 crore in the same quarter last year. Total income from operations of the company rose by 6.7 per cent to Rs 4,267 crore in the second quarter of current financial year 2014-15 from Rs 3,999 crore in the year-ago period.
