In a move that may enable evacuation of the power generated at the 4,000 MW Sasan Ultra Mega Power Plant in Madhya Pradesh into the grid, Reliance Power has commissioned a 400 kV switchyard. This will connect the upcoming power project to the national grid. With this grid connectivity, the Sasan project has both fuel and off-take systems in place for commissioning.
