Tenders floated to tie up 2.5 GW PPAs with stranded plants

In order to attract more independent power plants for procuring electricity from 2,500 MW capacity without power purchase agreements (PPAs), the Union Power Ministry has floated a second round of tenders, where the tariff structure for the PPAs would be split into fixed and variable costs.
