Deoghar airport to get a rooftop solar power

The Airports Authority of India has invited bids to set up a 330 kWp grid-connected solar power system at Deoghar Airport in Jharkhand. The plant is to be installed on the rooftop and car parking on the premises of the airport. The project cost is estimated at Rs.17.3 mn and the time allowed for completion is four months. The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, transportation, loading and unloading, storage, installation, testing and commissioning of the plant and interconnection to the AAI’s 415V LT panel of the substation as required.
