IndiGrid completes acquisition of GPTL transmission project

India Grid Trust (IndiGrid) has completed the acquisition of the Gurugram Palwal Transmission (GPTL) poject from Sterlite Power at a value of Rs.10.80 bn. The acquisition increases the number of assets under IndiGrid by 9 per cent to Rs.133 billion. Its asset portfolio now includes 10 power transmission projects with a total network of 25 power transmission lines and seven sub-stations extending over 6,080 circuit km and 10,735 mega volt amperes in 15 Indian states.
