The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) has issued an invitation for bids for the long-term purchase of 300 MW of wind energy from intrastate wind-generating projects. The deadline for submitting online bids is January 6, 2023. For the tender, MSEDCL has established a ceiling rate of Rs 2.65/kWh. As an earnest money deposit, bidders will need to provide Rs 118,000/MW for each project. The winning bidder and MSEDCL will sign a power purchase agreement (PPA) that will last 12 years starting on the PPA execution date.
