NTPC plans to install 60 GW RE capacity by 2032

01 Aug 2021

NTPC has set a target to install 60 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032. NTPC became India's first energy sector to declare its energy goals as a part of UN High-level Dialogue on Energy (HLDE). The country's largest power producer aims to reduce 10 per cent of its net energy capacity installation by 2032. NTPC is among the few companies to globally declare its energy-compact goals. It has also declared that it will form at least two international alliances to facilitate clean energy research and sustainability promotion in the energy value chain by 2025. This development will boost the Nation's largest energy producer, which will secure its position in the green energy map of the country.
