PM Modi inaugurates Rs.110 bn hydropower project in Himachal Pradesh

PM Narendra Modi visited Mandi in Himachal Pradesh to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of hydropower projects of  Rs.110 bn in Himachal Pradesh. PM Modi laid the foundation stone of the Renukaji dam, which has been stalled for around three decades. The hydropower project of 40 MW will be constructed at around Rs.70 bn. It will provide a 500 million cubic metre water supply each year. PM Modi also laid the foundation stone of the Luhri hydropower project stage-1.
