RUMSL floats tender for 600 MW floating solar park

Rewa Ultra Mega Solar (RUMSL) has floated tenders for developing a 600 MW of floating solar park in Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh. The tender for this floating solar project will have six units of 100 MW each, with a floating solar photovoltaic grid-connected power projects developed at Omkareshwar reservoir. The deadline to submit the bids is January 31, 2022, and the bids will be opened on February 1. To participate in the bidding process, one of the criteria for the bidder is that the company should have experience in installing and commissioning floating solar projects of at least 2.5 MW, with a commissioned capacity of at least 1 MW.
