AIIB to fund Chennai Metro, ring road project

The state government will use a Rs.100-bn loan from Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank to fund portions of Corridors 4 and 5 of Chennai Metro’s Phase-2, and a stretch of the peripheral ring road in the north of the city.
