Coal India to procure Rs.70 bn mining equipment

Coal India is speeding the process of procuring 360 high capacity mining equipment worth over Rs 70 bn to bolster production. Nine global tenders have been issued, built on a common NIT at CIL level through a transparent e-procurement process with reverse auction.
