Foundation stone laid for Rs.150 bn Bundelkhand Expressway

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently laid the foundation stone of the 296-km Bundelkhand Expressway, estimated to cost nearly Rs.150 bn, in the Chitrakoot district of Uttar Pradesh. The Prime Minister reportedly said that the expressway, together with the state's Defence Corridor in Bundelkhand, would transform the socioeconomic landscape of the region.
