India proposes to construct Lower Arun Hydro Project

The Government of India has proposed to construct the Lower Arun Hydropower Project with a capacity of 400 MW.
The project is expected to be developed adopting 900-MW Arun-III Project model. Reportedly, Nepal has put its stance for further discussion, observing the progress in the construction of Arun-III.
