Swiss firm plans Rs.120 bn steel plant

Swiss major IMR Metallurgical Resources AG has proposed to set up a steel plant in the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh at Rs.120 bn with an annual production capacity of 10 mn tonnes. IMR Chairman Hans Radolf Weld has reportedly met with Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in this regard.
