Andhra projects worth Rs.8.16 tn included in NIP

As many as 503 infrastructure projects in Andhra Pradesh with an estimated capital outlay of Rs.8.16 tn are included in the National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP) programme. The amount is expected to be spent over five years. Out of these projects, 362 projects with a total capital outlay of Rs.6,787.09 bn will be taken up in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode by the Central Ministries or State of Andhra Pradesh and 111 will be in public-private partnership (PPP) mode with a total outlay of Rs.963.38 bn. For 30 projects, the mode of implementation is yet to be fixed.
