The automated waste plant at Greater Noida’s integrated industrial township became operational after it was inaugurated recently. The facility connects all manufacturing units to collect, segregate and treat waste automatedly. The plant has the capacity to segregate and recycle waste as well as to produce methane gas at the plant that can be used to produce electricity for the township. No waste will be discharged into the soil. The authority has also set up an STP to treat the wastewater and recycle the same.
