DPR for Gurugram’s first government medical college gets CM’s nod

Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar has approved the revised detailed project report for the Sheetla Mata Medical College, the first state-run institution for MBBS studies in Gurugram. He also cleared the comprehensive mobility plan drawn up by GMDA, of which he is the chairman, in the first meeting of the agency since March. The proposal to build the medical college was announced by Khattar in 2017. The 700-bed medical college is proposed in Kherki Majra in Sector 102 at a cost of Rs.9.81 bn, and will have 250 MBBS seats. It will be developed with the latest facilities and will have residential hostels and quarters for the students as well as the doctors working at the hospital.
