Gas Authority of India (GAIL) and the Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha (IPICOL), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the areas of green hydrogen, green ammonia, and renewable energy for the production of eco-friendly fuels in Odisha. The scope of the MoU includes, preparing a feasibility study for the proposed plants, as well as promoting the production of environmentally friendly fuels in Odisha. Green hydrogen would assist industries in reducing aggregate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, thereby contributing to the overall goals of the Central Government's targets.
