Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has conducted a trial run for transporting fuel to Tripura through Bangladesh. IOC will transport tankers of petrol and diesel via Bangladesh from Guwahati, during the trial run. Each LPG tanker has the capacity to transport 17 million tonne of gas and each oil tanker can carry 12,000 litre. The tankers will go to Dwaki, Meghalaya and enter Bangladesh. They will re-enter India at Kailashahar in Tripura.
