CIDCO has launched a mega scheme to offer plots and commercial shops in Mumbai. Under this scheme, different tenements of commercial shops, housing projects for MIG and HIG, and plots for residential, commercial and social purposes would be made available for sale via an e-auction and e-tender process in Ghansoli, Taloja, Kharghar, Kalamboli and Dronagiri nodes of Navi Mumbai. Apart from this, they have also made plots available for social purposes like art and cultural centres, veterinary clinics, student hostels, old age homes, special schools and orphanages. This is believed to provide momentum to the slowly improving economy after the pandemic.
