PWD plans two flyovers to decongest Nandankanan Road

The Bhubaneshwar Public Works Department plans to build two new flyovers on the busy Jaydev Vihar-Nandankanan Road. The flyovers will come up at Kalinga Hospital Square and Damana Square. The PWD also plans to increase lanes on the road from the existing six to eight. A consultant has been engaged to prepare the master plan. The sketch and map have already been prepared, and the detailed project report is expected to be ready very soon. The final approval will be given after the plan is scrutinised.
