In Arunachal Pradesh, infrastructure development, ranging from road construction to greenfield airport, took centre stage in 2022. The country has accelerated the process of constructing suitable infrastructure, particularly border connections in the state, namely the Arunachal Frontier Highway. Work on the project has already begun in some places, with heavy equipment being deployed to expedite the entire process. The 2,000 km road project is expected to cost at least Rs 400 billion.
