Web Werks signs MoU with state government for Rs.7.5bn

Web Werks, one of India’s leading independent data center providers, has signed an MoU with the Karnataka Government to set up a data centre in Bengaluru. Web Werks will be investing Rs.7.5bn in the project which will be fully operational in two years. The data centre will have a potential of up to 20 MW with further expansion possibilities. According to Data Center Map, Bengaluru is an emerging data centre market. The city has been witnessing a demand for data-driven services, cloud/colocation, and captive IT infrastructures.
