Green Business Certification Inc released its 2016 LEED in Motion: India report, a comprehensive report of LEED activity in India, indicating strong financial savings on energy for a number of LEED Platinum and Gold certified buildings across the country. The report notes that the LEED Platinum ITC Sankhya Data Centre in Bengaluru achieved an annual energy savings of Rs 121 mn and the LEED Gold K Raheja Corp Mindspace Building No. 9 in Hyderabad saved Rs 24 mn annually in energy and Rs 3 mn in water savings.
