No high-rises near Rajasthan airports

01 Dec 2016

Reports reveal that the Rajasthan Government will not approve high-rise buildings near airports in the state. The NOC to construct buildings near Jodhpur, Jaipur and Udaipur airports will be issued only in special cases after consulting the security aspect with the district administration. It is also known that discussions have been made to construct a VIP terminal near the state hangar in Jaipur. For the same, the state has promised to allocate land to the Airports Authority of India. An order on colour coded zoning map from the state government will enable local bodies to approve height clearances for buildings proposed near airports.
