An 'Aerotropolis' with commercial and residential spaces would be formed around the Noida International Airport in Jewar on the lines of Delhi's Aerocity as part of the area's Master Plan 2041. An "ultra-modern city" and a sports zone with Olympics-level amenities are additionally offered under this plan. The master plan has been made by consultancy company MARS Planning & Engineering Services and has been submitted to Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA).
