Centre to award tenders worth Rs.2 tn

To expedite the Smart Cities mission, the Centre will award tenders worth Rs.2 tn by March 2020, and finish smart city projects worth Rs.500 bn
by June 2020. This mission will transform cities into IT-enabled cities focussed on sustainable and inclusive development of urban clusters.
