Thiruvananthapuram's Connemara market to get a facelift

The project to revamp the century-old Connemara market at Palayam has taken off. The Smart City Thiruvananthapuram will implement renovation works worth Rs.1.12 bn. A permanent prefabricated structure will be constructed in the Trivandrum Development Authority owned land inside the market to rehabilitate around 450 traders.
