JMC to introduce new development projects to make Jammu a smart city

As reported, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) will be introducing many new development projects to make Jammu a smart city. Jammu Smart City (JSCL) has signed two agreements for the construction of 23 junctions and the installation of smart traffic booths in various parts of the city. The first phase of  Rs.1.5 bn Tawi River Front development project was recently signed with Shree Balaji Engicons for the beautification of the right and left banks of the river. Reports also indicate that a project to install LED street lights is already underway, and JMC is carrying out development work worth billions of rupees in all of the city's wards.
