Ludhiana Smart City to install 1,742 cameras worth Rs.359.6 mn

Ludhiana Smart City will install 1,742 cameras in the city in addition to the 30 vehicle- mounted cameras and 600 infrared illuminators. The project would cost Rs.359.6 mn. Municipal commissioner Pardeep Kumar Sabharwal told the media that the project will be completed within five yearsunder the Smart City mission.Ludhiana was among the first 20 cities to be selected under the Smart City mission in 2016. Various projects are being developed under the aegis of Ludhiana Smart City.
