Patna municipal area to have 30 smart parking facilities soon

The Patna civic body’s 30 parking lots will be turned into smart parking facilities post-amendment in the master plan. The proposal had been approved in the Patna Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) 25th board meeting held in March. These smart parking facilities will have boom barriers along with radio-frequency identification (RFID) sensors to control entry/exit of vehicles, automated pay stations, smart ticketing system and cameras to collect vehicle model and number.
