Srinagar Smart City board okays several projects, earmarks funds

The board of directors of Srinagar Smart City has approved a series of new projects in several areas of fundamental infrastructure and development. The board also reviewed ongoing projects in the Jammu and Kashmir capital, including smart power and water metering. Detailed project reports have been formulated and funds of Rs.170 mn and Rs.450 mn have been earmarked for the Power and Jal Shakti Departments respectively. Several other projects have been approved, including the installation of cycle stands in the central business area, formulation of a DPR for Kawdara Craft Exhibition Centre, development of pedestrian pathways using local devri stone, etc.
