The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, recently announced that about 336 km of road works under Bharatmala Pariyojna Phase-I have been completed in Telangana. The state was awarded road works covering a length of 568 km costing Rs. 9,906 crore. Overall, works covering 2,178 km were envisaged for development under Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I in Telangana for approximately Rs 54,485 crore. As per reports, all projects under the Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I, including those in Telangana, are expected to be finished by 2026-27.
