AAI to compensate for 60 acre land acquisition

In a move that will pave the way for the acquisition of 60 acre of land for the development of Jaipur Airport terminal building, Airports Authority of India has agreed to give 50 per cent compensation to the Rajasthan government. It also assured the Rajasthan government assistance in the construction of civil aviation complex and a relaxation in the air connectivity fees at Jaipur airport. Furthermore, the work of developing the new terminal building at Jaisalmer airport will be completed by the end of October, and the state government will complete the construction of the link road connecting the airport and laying down electric lines during this time.
