Bids called for Chennai-Mysuru high speed rail line

The National HighSpeed Rail Corporation (NHSRC) has invited bids for alignment design for the 435-km-long Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru rail corridor that will cut travel time to less than two hours. 
A new dedicated high-speed line with elevated and underground stretches will be built to run trains at speeds up to 300 kmph.
