Construction work on Machilipatnam port begins

Navayuga Engineering Company has bagged the project to develop Machilipatnam port on Build-Own-Operate-Transfer basis for a period of 50 years. Spread across 4,800 acre, the first phase of the project is expected to be completed and operational in 18 months.
