India, Iran to fast-track work on Chabahar Port

Both India and Iran are looking at accelerating work on the Chabahar port project. S Jaishankar, external affairs minister, co-chaired the 19th Joint Commission Meeting in Tehran in December last year. Iran, India and Afghanistan signed a pact to develop the Chabahar port, which will facilitate transportation among the three countries, in May 2016.
