Indian Railways commissions survey for India-Bhutan rail link

Soon, travelling between India and Bhutan will be possible by train. A survey has been commissioned by the Indian Railway Board to establish a Mujnai-Nyoenpaling line to provide a cross-border rail link between the neighbouring nations. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal was recently in Bhutan, heading a business delegation in connection with the Bhutan-India Start-up Summit 2020. As reported, a team from the Indian Railways
is expected to visit Bhutan to hold discussions with its State Mining Corporation.
