Maha okays Mumbai airport revamp

The Maharashtra Government has approved the renovation of the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) in Mumbai. The project, estimated to cost Rs 10,000 crore, includes the development of terminals, airside and part of land-side. The development plan does not include drains, metro, etc, and the maintenance, augmentation, development of city-level infrastructure networks and services and related future projects within the CSIA notified area need to be funded by local authorities, the state government and private agencies.
